I took Robin's recipe for Pierogies, well the filling anyway, & altered it (through just forgetting to get GREEN cabbage, because all I had at home was the red/purple cabbage.. oops!)

If there is any art that you would like to discuss with me for either getting in touch with Robin or having me come to your home & taking pictures of your culinary creations IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA ONLY, please email me at: bekki2@earthlink.net

Robin's Rutabega dish.. but with a PURPLE twist!

Ingredients: rutabagas, turnips, potatoes (I didn't use mashed, I boiled the potatoes together with the turnips & rutabegas), onions, and I used purple cabbage & chopped it fine,  thyme, salt, pepper

Instructions: peel and, chop, boil rutas & turnips & potatoes till done, while that mixture is cooling, cut up onions & add the cabbage that were sautéed in a pan. Next, allow mixture to cool.

Again, I just used it as a side dish until I decided to use it to make breakfast burritos.. de-lish! Check it all out!

(Luckily, my whole apartment is in purples, blues & greens & my mate loves purple as well.. he balked at EATING purple stuff.. but get us hungry enough & colors are pretty irrelevant

Ok, this is MY kitchen.. Smaller & white with purple, blue & green accents!

Here's Robin's recipe, except I used purple cabbage.. so me!

My "huge" cooking area where I'm going to make breakfast burritos

I love using leftovers.. we were brought up on them & the flavors 'marry' & blend so well...

First, since Anjelica is in town & coming over for a fast supper, this first part will be vegetarian, for her.

Close up of the leftovers from last nights' steak dinner

for Anjelica's burritos, I added eggs..

after browning a bit, I added some mozzerella cheese

I browned it some more..

Heated up the burrito tortilla..

& put it in a container for her..

I then cut up or leftover steak..

added the rutabega mixture..

after frying, put it on a  heated burrito shell..

added cheese..

& tomatoes.. and viola.. wrap it up & it's delicious!

I add, May the flame of the season burn bright within us & .. May the your days bring only the best ~

Health, abundance beyond belief  .. & love..
